Our MissionBig Sister Tennis Empowerment is a platform to connect young upcoming female players with Women in the Finnish Business sector. Young girls need role models in order to be inspired. In order for this to be achieved, we believe connecting the two groups will uplift the future of women’s tennis from grassroots to professional level.
Majority of young female athletes get lost when it comes to entering the workforce. They are never prepared for the real world. The only thing they know is competing and training everyday but lack preparation for the life outside of athletics. |

LeadershipThere are more women in the leadership roles and no one talks about it. We believe it’s time for the girls to see the future one day running their own business or have a leadership role in the world. The sky is the limit.
MentorshipEvery girl needs a mentor to be inspired, dream, lead, and achieve their goals. The power of mentorship goes a long way. Living in the United States, I have seen success stories for my former female athletes.

WorkforceBSTE is managed by Play College Sports USA Oy which sends young athletes to study on scholarship in the United States. We believe after our young women graduate from college, they need preparation for entering the workforce. The only way to achieve this is through connecting with Big Sister Tennis Empowerment Platform.
adoptionMembers of the BSTN will adopt a player to mentor. It is an important initiative for the future of Big Sister Empowerment.
